    Type Alias CurvyStretchSectionProps

    CurvyStretchSectionProps: SectionProps & {
        curveCount: number;
        curvinessScore: number;
        hairpinCount: number;
        lengthInMeters: number;
        minRadiusInMeters: number;
    }

    A curvy stretch of a route: curves that follow one another closely, such as a mountain pass.

    Type Declaration

    • curveCount: number

      How many curves the stretch holds. Over lengthInMeters, it says how winding the stretch is.

    • curvinessScore: number

      The curvinessScore of its curves, added up: the higher, the more a rider gets out of it. Roadcurvature.com, which scores roads the same way, calls those over 1000 very twisty.

    • hairpinCount: number

      How many of its curves are hairpins, as isHairpin tells them.

    • lengthInMeters: number

      The length of the stretch, along the route.

    • minRadiusInMeters: number

      The radius of the stretch's tightest curve.

    The SDK groups the route's curves into stretches, with getCurvyStretchSections. To list the curves of a stretch, pass it as within to getSectionsWithin.

    A curve at a maneuver ends a stretch, since a run of turns at junctions makes no winding road. That takes a route with guidance: without it, turns at junctions between short roads can make one.
